Now that Jenny is back, she found out someone paid some lady to say her cows burned down the barn, she's trying to find out who her secret admirer is! And goes to the Halloween party dressed amazingly, and wins best costume, while Tinsley is shocked. Callie has been trying to talk to Easy, who won't talk to her knowing her and Tinsley wanted Jenny gone. She's dressed as Cinderella, and knows Easy is her prince charming, but then he calls her a bitch and she decides to go on this spa retreat her mom is talking about. It doesn't turn out to be what she thinks it is though. And Jenny finds Drew, who says he saved her, but he's just like all the other boys, trying to get some. Brett is happy to be with Jeremiah again, but that doesn't last for too long. Jenny and Tinsley end up trying to go save Callie, but Jenny texts Easy right before her phone dies and he gets to her first. But risking going off campus to save Callie, now he might be expelled. We'll see! I loved it, of course. Next one comes out tomorrow woohoo! But I think I'm buying it on Friday, but I still got the one before that to go.

Lucky by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Everyone is held up about this fire in the barn! There's a list sent out of all the suspects. And all those suspects are fending for themselves, trying to get alibis and people to back them up. Because they're all ready to be up against Dean Marymount. Meanwhile, Jenny gets her heart broken again, when she finds out about Tinsley and Julian. Brett is even more confused about her sexual orientation, when she finds out another juicy secret. While Callie and Easy are having the time of their lives, well mostly. But Tinsley has a plan to get Jenny expelled, and it works, but shortly after, Jenny returns, and everyone is stumped. This was great! Man they're all crazy though. Especially Tinsley. Cecily Von Ziegesar has a great way of writing down words to make you feel like that person is, that Jenny is a bad person, or whatever, It's crazy, on to the next one. I better find some more books after this cuz I'm flying through em!

Unforgettable by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Jenny has just broke it off with Easy, and her and Callie have made a pact to forget about him. While Brett decides to make the Women of Wavery (WoW) club, to talk about things they want, only girls allowed. But of course Heath Ferrero gets involved and comes to the meeting too. Just to prove a point about kissing and going no farther, Brett kisses Kara, but then it actually feels good. They're both not sure about it, but secretly kiss again and Heath sees. He promises to keep it a secret if they send him pictures of them. Will he really keep his promise? Meanwhile Tinsley is getting a crush on Jillian, but little does she know that Jillian and Jenny have a thing going on too. And then there's this party they have at the barnyard and alot of crazy shit goes down. I loved it, I kinda was zoned out for a little at the begininng cuz I haven't read the other 3 in a while but then I got right back into, and I have the last three of the series to read too, can't wait for the next one coming out June 1st! woohoo. Who makes her feel amazing, but she's also starting to like Danny, a writer whose there at the set with her, and there's Adam who she hasn't really told him about Ben yet. So, Anna is just stacking up on the boys. While Cammie is feeling left out, because her best friend Sam hasn't been wanting to hang or call out recently, and is having more fun with Anna. Same thing with Dee too. So she starts to try to get Adam, but ends up actually liking him, what are the odds. But she's tired of Anna ruining her life, so she does something crazy, but then is caught and ends up getting her credit cards and BMW taken away, while Anna is leaving open the possibility of being with Danny. I thought it was good. I really did think Anna was kinda crazy for all the boys, which doesn't really seem like her but hey, people get caught up in the Hollywood life right? Can't wait to buy the next one!

While Nate and Serena and Dan go to Brown for their interviews. Then the wedding comes, and all these relationships switch it up. Blair sees Jenny and Nate together. So then Serena goes to comfort Blair and they hang out. While Dan is with Vanessa. Oh boy, here we go. Ha, I read this book in an hour and 40 minutes! crazy huh? But it's good, like always. Love the gossip in it, but def don't come from a life like that. I was feeling really sad though when Blair caught Nate with Jenny. She was dreaming pretty big though. But we'll see what happens next whenever i get the next book in the series!
Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella
Becky Bloomwood feels great about paying all her debt back. But it seems as if she's getting into it again, thinking everuthing she buys will be an investment. She has her job on Morning coffee advising people about their money. And she's now going out with Luke. So she goes to New York and gets caught up in her shopping again, in the glitter anad glitz of New York. While Luke is trying his hardest to get the company going. But then, Becky's story gets into the Daily World and it's there for everyone to see that she's in thousands of debt and she loses all her job offers and her job back home too. And calls back the girl at Barney's to get a job to help people with their fashion. And guess who comes to see her 2 months later. Luke. Oh I love reading this book. It's so fun and like kinda frantic ish and Becky is so silly and fun. She's a great character. It's like she gets sucked into buying all these finer things, telling herself not to but does anyways. I'm not sure which books is next but def will try to read it! :]

Good Girls by Laura Ruby
Audrey is at a party, and Luke, someone she's been "friends with benefits" with takes her up to a room. She decides this is the last time to hook up, so she gives him a blow job, but both of them don't notice that a picture is taken. And then everyone sees it and knows it's her. One person sends it to the next and they send it to everyone they know and now everyone ha seen it. Her mom is trying to have these sex talks with her, while her dad is kinda ignoring her. But Audrey is a good girl, who studies hard and gets all A's. Her best friend Joelle and AShley, now known as Ash, are furious too. But Audrey decides to change her hair color, because a girl at the salon convinced her to. And then when Ash gets mad at Audrey, she starts sitting with Pam and Cindy, who she never really liked before, then they just all become friends. So, will Audrey ever find out who took that picture of her? I thought it was good. And that it could totally happen! It's sucky how one little thing can change your whole high school life or any life at all. But I thought it was an up to date book and would like to read the otoher book she wrote too.

The Miracle Girls by Anne Dayton and May Vanderbilt
Ana moved from San Jose to Half Moon Bay because her dad's law practice. But it's not looking so good. She's been in school for a few weeks and hasn't made any friends. But then things change when she gets detention for accusing Riley, the popular girl, of cheating on a math test. They're forced in groups and told to share a life changing moment, and they realize all their stories are miracles. So, Zoe and Ana start hanging out, then soon after Christine joins the group, but it's kinda hard to get Riley to join. And Ana's parents are so strict, it makes her so mad. Her quinceanera is alos coming up, but thats just more to argue about with her mom. So these four miracles girls forge a friendship in the end and realize they're gonna stick together now. It was pretty good, nothing too amazing. But I also like the idea of how these four different girls became a group of friends because of their miracles.

Lush by Natasha Friend
Samantha has an alcoholic dad. But her dad won't admit it, and her mom acts like it's ok. With promises that he'll change, he then goes out and does it again. Thank goodness she has her three best friends by her side, but they don't know about it. So she writes letter to some random girl, where they exchange the notes in a book. Another thing is, Sam has big boobs, and she's in 8th grade, where boys can be obnoxious, loud, rude, and mean. While telling her story to this girl with letters, she's trying to keep her brother Luke safe, and also herself. But it doesn't turn out too well, so her dad goes into rehab. And she herself goes and gets drunk at this party with some guy she's been kissing in the library. Then the person she's been exchanging letters with is not who she thinks it'll be. Even though this book was written from the point of view of a younger girl, like 13, it was still pretty good. It was sad though, especially the part where her dad is durnk and smashes a bottle into Luke's face. I just wish these drugs and alcohol parents weren't real! But they are. Sadly. But it was a good book.

It's a Green Thing by Melody Carlson
Maya is starting out her new life, living with her cousin Kim and her Uncle Allen. She recently opened up to God and has lots of questions to ask. Thank goodness Caitlyn is there to answer those questions and guide her through it all. Maya hangs out with Marissa, who isn't a Christian girl and likes to drink and party, even though she has to do community service all summer because of just that. Her mom, Shannon is in jail while her dad is still on tour. She ends up liking this guy Dominic, but is unsure of how to act around him. And then this girl Brooke who worked with her and a few others on a painting of a mural, ends up falling and getting a supposed spinal injury. And Maya finds to hard to believe she's a Christian. But in the end she finds herself, and decides to go to her senior year at the high school. And knows God will be there with her. I liked this book too, and I went through it pretty fast. But it has really good questions and answers having to do with trusting God. I also love the green tips, cuz I'm def for helping save the Earth. Loved it.
A Not so Simple Life by Melody Carlson
Maya Stark is not having a great life. Her mom, Shannon, is a big train wreck. She constantly leaving for nights in a row, coming back wasted or drunk. And it keeps happening. Maya is living off of the check her dad sends. Who is the famous Nick Stark, and is currently on tour. But she can't take living like this anymore. Her cousin Kim gives her this diary to write in. Maya decides she needs to make a living for herself and tries to find a job. She goes from a little boutique, to Ralph Lauren, to modeling, not liking any of it, but doing it for the money. She eventually wants to get emancipated. But then it's all she can take, she goes on tour with her dad for a little while, then over to her cousin Kim's house. Things start imporving for her and accepts God back into her life. I liked this book. It was really sad how she was living her life, and I'm sure there are girls her age or maybe even younger having to go through a crazy family like that. It was emotional and raw, and now I'm off to read the second one!

Invisible Touch by Kelly Parra
Kara has a gift. She sees signs on people's chests, that could lead to something tragic to happen to that perosn. It all started when she was out in the ocean with her dad, while she survived and he didn't. But she was dead for eleven minutes then came back to life. Her mom is still trying to get her to see Dr. Hathaway and thinking she can't handle it. But Kara knows what she's doing. But it's a lonely life. So she starts a blog to talk about herself. Her best friend and her don't talk beyond things on the surface, but they both learn new things about each other. And Kara meets Anthony, who her mom doesn't approve of. But Kara can't help but start to love him. And this "gun" puzzle is getting even more confusing. In the end she figures out all the clues and even learns some new things about her family and Anthony. I thought it was really. Books like this are so intriguing and interesting. So much loneliness must come from someone who could be like that. But it was a great book with a realistic type family and parties and all of that.

Disenchanted Princess by Julie Linker
West wants to be a fashion designer. She lives in L.A. of course, but her mom died and her dad is in prison. So, this summer this lady, supposedly her mom's sister, gets custody of her. She has to move to Possum Grape, Arkansas. WTH! Where Sherri, her mom's sister has some crazy tactics for life. And the school is beat up, there's no Starbucks. No internet. But then she meets Sophie, who is a really nice girl and someone she can relate to. She can sew and make designs also. So even though she still hates the town, she makes friendships. But all the while trying to get back to her big party at home. She just runs away to the airport, but then gets an offer from a new designer in Texas. So now she's back in Possum Grape, but it's not so bad anymore. With her making clothes and being with Steven. This was def refreshing book from the last two I've read. I love the style because it's so alike probably how lots of girls think. It's quirky and fun.

Summer Share: Laguna Beach
Claire and Linley are going to have a beach house together while Linley's uncle is out of town. The room mates they find include Max, Jodi, Poppy, Dean, and Finn. Their summer is filled with some partying and working and finding out new things about one another. As well as claire coming out of her shell and becoming a virgin no more! Uhm, it was ok. Didn't really care for it too much. Sadness, hopefully the next book I read will be better! Sorry the picture's all blurry I could hardly find any! But oh well.

Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins
Debbie wishes something would happen. In this book there are a few characters incorporated. Debbie, Hector, Lenny, Patty, and a few others. Just telling about their summer together and the different feelings and things that happen. Haha, crappy review right? Well, I didn't really care for the book. It was ok I guess.

Swimming to Antarctica Tales of a Long-Distance Swimmer by Lynne Cox
This is the life story of Lynne Cox. Throught the book is all her stories of the swims she completed. Starting out when she was 12 and swimming in the pool, during the rainstorm, and knowing she wanted to do something great one day. She ended up swimming across many channels and straits and lakes. Beating record times and being the first to swim across others. She had to endure cold water, waves, and sea animals. She made countries come together, including the Soviet Union and the United States, by getting permission to swim from Alaska to their shore. And her ultimate goal was swimming in Antarctic water for half an hour in 32 degree water for 1.06 miles. It was a great book. Some parts were a little boring, kinda like the same. But it was really intense and she is definitely an amazing person. The things she did were unbelievable.

Jessica has psychic powers. When she sees a picture or touches something of someone's she can see where they are, if they're missing. It's Thanksgiving and she wants to go to her boyfriend's Rob's house. Before she leaves though, Dr. Thompkins comes over and asks if she's seen Nate around. But on her way back from Rob's, Nate is found in the field and he's dead with this weird symbol on his chest. Then the synagogue gets burned down, along with the Torah. And Krantz is trying to get Jessica to help out, because Seth has gotten kidnapped. So she goes on this adventure to take out the group of people who did all this. And in the end saves Seth, while Rob and Krantz end up in the hospital, but ok. And she rethinks about joining the FBI to help save missing kids. It was a good book. I totally didn't know there were like 3 or 4 before this one and it was part of a series, but oh well. It was interesting and cool. I like reading about weird psyhic stuff sometimes haha.

So her stepmother starts to be nice to Xing Xing and makes her a dress, but Xing Xing has revenge, because her stepmother killed her precious fish. She goes to the carnival dressed up in her mother's clothes. The prince gathers news of the shoe because it gets so expensive on the market. So the prince goes to fit the shoe on every woman, and of course Xing Xing gets the fit and the prince fits perfectly with her. I loved it! I'm so dumb cuz i didn't even realize it was a Cinderella type story until like the very end. Probably because it was so unqiuely its own. I did read it really fast, but it's def awesome. Love it. So sad how they bind their feet though, I wonder if they still do that?
