At first I kinda wasn't feeling it, but then I got into the spunk of Cat. But then of course alot of name dropping and other random things got me a little confused, cuz hey, I'm not a fan of that stuff, but it's cool. I love how different the characters are though. And New York City always being a place of crazy things. Especially in movies crazy stuff always happens there! Makes sense though right? But I love the wittiness and the characters attitudes. It was hilarious to read too.

Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles

Back Cover: Caleb Becker spent the past year in juvenille detention. Maggie Armstrong spent the past year in hospitals and physical therapy. Two teens who were scarred one fateful night are going to have to face their greatest challenge yet- meeting up with each other again. This was a relaly good book. It was full of emotions and difficult things to cope with. I like stories like this were two characters tell their side and they intertwine with each other. When I found out that not Caleb, but Leah was the one who hit Maggie it was like what! Def did not expect that. And how they eventually just connected with each other. But when Mrs. Reynolds dies, it's like everything changes. But Maggie learns to love who she is now that's she's different. And Caleb is tired or pretending with his family, so he leaves Paradise. I felt really emotional at the end! I kinda wanted to cry too. It was very well written.

Parties & Potions by Sarah Mlynowski

Front Flap: Life's a ball when you're a withc. Literally! This year my sister Miri and I are both debuting at a magical party called a Samsorta, a debutante ball for witches. That's right, Miri and I have just discovered that there's a teen-magic scene. Who knew? And not only do these witches use their powers to throw cool parties, but some of them also; zap up backstage passes to rock concerts and poof over to Paris for dinner. Go to my school. Are boys. Yes, boy witches, like supercute and charming Adam, who might have a crush on me. Not that I'm interested. I have Raf. The boyfriend I'm madly in love with. Except that Raf-inlike Adam- can never, ever know I'm a witch. Unless someone tells him. I love the covers of the Magic in Manhattan series, the girl on the cover reminds me of me! haha, if I were a witch :] This one was great! It sounded really cool, the Samsorta. And I wish I had a younger sister like that. I just have two younger brothers, but oh well, can't change it. It was so sad when Rachel broke up with Raf!!! But I was so happy at the end when she told him, and their dad, and Tammy. It's always the best to be honest!

I mean, sometimes I do get confused by some of these names of things in the italics, but besides that, it's amazing. There have probably been alot of books on vampires, including Twilight, but those 2 are all I need for my vampire fix. It's so tragic how Schuyler is so in love with Jack, but then she did act selfishly toward Oliver, who just seems to sweet! And then Bliss! Omg, I don't know what's gonna happen to her but she's a silver blood? I mean, wow. I can't wait for the next one to come out!

Sweethearts by Sara Zarr

Well, let me say, at first I wasn't really feeling it, I kinda wanted to stop reading it, but then I was like wth, just read some more! And then I got hooked. The writing seems different than alot of other authors. But Jennifer is a complicated girl. It's crazy how someone can write things like that. I mean, it's sometimes really hard to write things down how you're feeling. But Jennifer was trying to be different, but she really was the same, and it's kinda sad. Cuz it feels like the whole time she's faking things, except for when she's with Cameron. I thought it was good. A story of how memories can take a big toll on our lives.

Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot

I love this book. It's so quirky and fun. It's so fun and funny to read how Lizzie is debating about liking/loving Chaz or not and everything around her knows it's so true! And how her grandma dies was so unexpected and sad! But it was tricky to have Luke cheating on her while she was hooking up with his best friend, or best friend's ex-boyfriend as Lizzie always said. I hope there is another one coming out. Ican't really tell by the ending if there would be one, but I'd def be reading it.

It was so cool to read because I'm filipino! And this girl is too, so I like kinda learned more about my own culture and how they live there. I so want to visit Manila! But it's another thing about culture, and how adjusting to America is for people from other countries. Vicenza is a character that is so real and kinda sad too. She struggles because of wanting to fit in, and having a big crush on that one guy. then finding out he's not it. Practically in every book that happens. But it makes it even more true! It def happened to me. But I liked it and Melissa de la Cruz is awesome.

First off I must say that IU love all her covers, they're different to me! Anyways, this book was really realistic. I mean, Hannah does have some weird parents, but how she feels and acts can be understood by lots. Especially the part where thinking some guy is perfect for you and figuring out he really isn't what you thought. And her relationship with her parents is also complicated, but so are many other teens' relationships with their parents.

Like such a fun woman to be and even though she did make mistakes and go through alot of things, in the end she was ok! But it was great, and it's still funny little things they say like the loo and I don't remember what else but it's so cute! haha

And it's kinda fun to read about Christmas things when it's not Christmas cuz there's def enough of that when it comes! But I liked them. It was sad though since I'm not used to reading stories so short and it's like I want more to happen! But it's all good.

Observation #5: Do not even get me started on the state of the bathroom. I'mthinking of calling in a haz-mat team. Seriously Observation #6: These boys know how to make enemies. Big time. Megan Meade will have to juggle a new school, a new family, a new crush- on the boy next door, as in the next bedroom door- and anew life. Will she survive the McGoawn boys? Haha I loved it! I can't imagine living with that many people, let alone all guys except the mom! There def would be some serious friend shopping nights and everything haha. But it was interesting. Evan was kinda really annoying, but oh well. I liked Megan, kinda reminds me of me sometimes,when I really wanna say whats on my mind but I don't cuz I'm too scared. Maybe I'll be able to overcome that too!?

So Carrie does what any girl would do: she's going to India. Cross your fingers and hope that Carrie finds adventure, love, and maybe just a little good luck along the way... That was amazing. I love how different Kate Brian's book are. This one was filled with things that are so true. And makes you feel like you really are in India! And of course, everyone knows, how we take things for granted here in good ol America, right? But I love learning about other cultures and Indian one sounds awesome.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling

"The Warlock's Hairy Heart" was pretty scary though, the picture of that hairy heart, ew! But all in all it was good. But I'm glad I bought it online and not at the store for alot more.

Lucky by Rachel Vail

And it seems kinda like arg, I'm reading about rich people lose a little bit of money and now they have to live like me. I mean, not being rich is all good haha. But yeah, I'll have to read a few of her other books and see whatsup.

Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz

Ok, so I kinda think that writing what the book has for the summary is better than what I've been doing, i dunno it seems like I kinda give out so much of the story! So, Imma start doing that now haha. This is from the book flap. Schuyler Van Allen wants an explanation for the mysterious deaths of young vampires. With her best friend, Oliver, Schuyler travels to Italy in the hope of finding the one man who can help- her grandfather. Meanwhile, back in New York, preparations are feverishy under way for the Four Hundred Ball, an exclusive gala hosted by the city's wealthy, powerfu, and unhuman- a true Blue Blood affair. But it's at the after-party, a masquerade ball throw by the cunning Mimi Force, that the real danger lurks. Hidden behind the masks is a revelation that wil forever change the course of a young vampire's destiny.I loved it! That's all I ever say right? Of course the ending was suspenseful. It's crazy because I thought Mimi did do it, and she is kinda innocent cuz she's the one who asked to do it, but Kingsley actually performed. Can't wait to get the third one from the library! Hopefully one will be available soon. They eyes on the cover are kinda scary though ha.

Fake Boyfriend by Kate Brian

Lane, Isabelle, and Vivi. Three best friends, along with Curtis. There is def a problem. Izzy's boyfriend Shawn treats her horribly but she always goes back to him, and this time Lane and Vivi want it to stop! Especially with prom coming up so soon, Shawn gets caught groping another girl and asking that same one to prom later on. But Izzy still can't help herself for him. So Vivi makes up a crazy plan to distract Izzy by making up a guy for her on Myspace. Lane doesn't want to, but in the end she does it for her friend. And then they go ever farther and try to find the guy to fake it! And so they can go to prom together. Vivi and Lane are just doing the right thing for their best friend. This book was really cute! I mean, how can you not like two friends who would do that for their other friend. It is pretty crazy though. I wonder if people have actually done that, or how she came up with this story! But how ever she did, it's great. And the cover too, it kinda threw me off though cuz I was kinda expecting them to be finding like a Ken for the Barbie haha.

Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella

Lexi isn' in a good spot. She's stuck with her friends who are all drunk and her boyfriend stood her up. She's trying to catch a taxi, but failing miserably. She sees one and rushes towards it, but then falls. Next thing she's waking up in a hospital bed. But she finds out then she doesn't remember the last 3 years of her life. She now has a husband, has a really good job as boss, isn't friends with her 3 besties anymore, is supposed to be having a secret affair with another guy. It's crazy. She's just trying to live her life how it used to be, but pretending can only get her so far. This book was amazing! Sophie Kinsella is awesome. I can't imagine forgetting the past 3 years of your life and especially with so many changes in it! Thatd be insane.

L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad

Jane and Scarlett mopve to L.A. together. Scarlett is going to U.S.C and Jane has an internship with Fiona Chen, a popular event planner. Only a few weeks into being in L.A., they get an offer to be in a show. They're not sure at first if it's real, but then they get interviewed, and then called back and they make it on the show. All of this is so new to them. They have to be wired up everyday and the cameras are following them around doing everything, shopping, going to work, going out. And while Jane is loving the cameras and the two new girls Gaby and Madison, Scarlett isn't so fond of them. And their bff relationship isn't as strong as before. then Jane starts seeing Jesse, a guy known for dating girls and getting rid of them fast. With this show they knew would come challenges and differences, but how much will it change them? I loved it! I mean, it most likely has to do with Lauren's life herself, because alot of the things sound like from Laguna beach, but twisted a little bit. The only annoying thing was how alot of things were like in parenthesis, I dunno it just bugged me,but besides that I can't wait for the next book to come out! And I also love love the cover.

A Mile in my Flip-Flops by Melody Carlson

Gretchen Hanover has been leading a crappy life, since her fiancee Colin called off the wedding when he dumped her for his ex. She sits at home all day and watches HGTV and eats ice cream. Not good! But then she decides she wants to be like the people on t.v. and remake a house. So she finds this little house that's down in the dumps and decides to remodel it. She has to get out a loan and then it's time to get to work. But alot of obstacles get in the way, including her dad having a heart attack, more problems with the house, keeping her distance with Noah, whose a carpenter helping with the house. But in the end, her house gets flipped, not flopped. I loved this book! It was actually a book about someone like 32 or something, not teenager haha. But Melody Carlson is awesome. And I really liked going through remaking a crap house into a nice one.

Avalon High by Meg Cabot

Elaine moved, again. Because her parents are professors who go on their sabbatical and move to somewhere else for a year. So she starts going to Avalon High. And she sees this guy, Will, even before school starts in the park while she was jogging. She instantly feels an attraction for him, but he already has a girlfriend, Jennifer. Of course the blonde cheerleader. But this book is filled with mystery, when all these coincidences with the story of Arthur are finding its way into her life. She doesn't believe it, but one of her teachers, Mr. Morton does. How will it all end? With the characters having so many things in common with King Arthur and his circle of people. But Elain doesn't believe it, does she? This was really good! It was different I think. I haven't read anything like it before where it's like so many things similar to something in the past and all that. But of course it's from Meg Cabot, who is basically a genius at writing books now so it makes sense :]

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

Auden has missed out on alot of things during her teenage years. Because her parents split up and she was the responsible studious one while her brother Hollis went gallavanting all across Europe. But things change when Auden goes to stay with her dad and his new wife Heidi with their baby, Thisbe. It seems like her add isn't helping with the baby at all. While Auden meets Eli and gets to do things she never did before. But it's easier said than done. By the end of the summer though, she does make new friends, Maggie, Leah, and Esther. But will she be able to make it with Eli? And what about her dad and Heidi? Is there a second chance for all of them? Of course I loved it, Sarah Dessen has some of the best books! Auden is a great character, that shows how you can miss out on high school, but still learn some of the same things and have some of the same experiences outside of it, even when you think it's too late. I love the cover too, it's adorable, and perfect for the book, and so is the title.

Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler

Anna and Frankie are best friends. But before, there was Matt, Frankie's older brother Matt, who was also a best friend. Ever since they were kids they were inseparable, but Anna loved Sam in a different way, and then she found out he loved her like that too. They kept it a secret, but then right before they were going to tell Frankie, Matt died in a car accident. After that everything changed. Anna is stuck in the past with Matt, keeping their secret a secret still, while Frankie, well Frankie is just out of control. So, the family still decides to go to their vacation to Zanzibar, California. Where Frankie and Anna agree to meet twenty boys from the twenty days they are there. That is easier said than done. They have to balance out being the good girls Frankie's parents see, and their bad side, drinking, meeting boys, staying out late at night. And this summer secrets are revealed and their hearts will never be the same again. OMG This book was extremely emotional and written very well. The way the story is told rips your heart apart and makes you feel like it happened to you. It was more meaningful than other teens stories, and kida teaches you lessons about life, or about yourself. I really enjoyed, and I'm glad Ashley let me borrow it! :]

Tall Cool One by Zoey Dean

Anna doesn't seem to grasp the concept of just having a one night stand with someone so she takes up the offer her dad gave her to check out Las Casitas and she meets Kai. She tells herself she can do it, but still overanalyzes everything in her head. She wants to get physical but isn't sure if she really can. Meanwhile, Cammie and Adam are trying to heat things up but all their attempts keep backfiring and messing up and Cammie actually cares for Adam, when she knows she can have anyone. Sam is feeling sorry for herself when all guys want from her is to get through to her dad. But then she remembers about Anna's little trip down to Mexico and goes to join her. But who woulda thunk, they get in some trouble. Sam met this amazing guy and now thinks everything will be ruined. Will she get to see him again? And what about Anna will she ever get over Ben? Of course I loved it, just another book in the series, I'm keeping on going with all these books in series haha.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter. I really don't feel like explaining what this book is about! I've already read it a few times, I just wanted to read it again before the movie came out, and anyways it'd probably take me forever to talk about it haha. Ok, I'll just say that Dumbledore is giving Harry Potter lessons on Voldermort's past, and the whole time HP suspects Malfoy of something foul while Hermione and Ron don't believe him. In the end, Dumbledore dies. Man, I hate reading that part though, it's so sad! It makes me almost want to cry, I can't imagine what the movie will be like! Can't wait to see it, I am a Harry Potter fan yes. so what? :]

But her mom makes her anyways, and to make matters worse all her mom packed were nenon colored shirts and matching skorts. And she has to bunk with these 3 other bitchy girls who didnt even give her a chance, not to mention all the planned activities and then she gets her phone taken away from her! She finds a friend in Sylvia though, and starts to rethink her time at camp. This book was def hilarious, I loved all the quirky little things she said. I don't remember any, but it was funny and entertaining. I've never been to summer camp before, so I kinda got to see what it's like!

She's retaking her entrance exams to get into higher classes, and feeling pretty good. But her life of Privilege isn't so easy. She's into Lexa's boyfriend, Palmer, whose the president of the gold team. All of her friends get picked to be in gold, and if they win the competitions of welcome week they get admitted into the Privileged house, where there are co ed dorms. While Ariana is trying to fit in and not set up any suspicions toward her, she has many other problems to worry about. How Kaitlyn calls her up and demands for a million dollars in three days, how to resist Palmer, how to figure out the girls secrets, and a surprise visit from someone. She has a full place. But what will this girl do to get her life back to how she wants it?...... Dang, Ariana is def a crazy bitch, haha. She'll do ANYTHING to get what she wants. I mean, the goal is good, getting good grades and going to Princeton, but damn, she's pretty intense. I liked the book, but it's kinda psycho sometimes. But Kate Brian is still awesome. And the ending was totally unexpected, at least for me it was.
