Back Cover: Two girls haunted by the past... and destined to relive it in Legacy of Lies, Megan has to stay with the uptight grandmother she wants nothing to do with. She's determined to get through the visit without any drama, but when she falls into a twisted love triangle with potentially fatal consequences, Megan may be caught up in her family's legacy in more ways than she realizes. In Don't Tell, Lauren knows that by returning to the town where her mother drowned seven years ago, she'll be reliving one of her most haunting memories. When she arrives, she is propelled into a series of mysterious events that mimic the days leading up to her mother's death. Maybe her mother drowning wasn't an accident after all... and maybe Lauren is next.
These two were really awesome. Spooky, myserious, thrilling, and suspenseful! But I woner if or how they're connected. I know though that it's in the same town cuz they mention the Scaraborough Road in both, and then in Don't Tell, it says seven years earlier... so what does that mean?! Is it just letting you know or they're connected? I was trying to find stuff but I couldn't. so the first one was about Megan and her grandma and how she's coming to visit her but some weird things are happening. Like she's having weird dreams and moving things and sleep walking, because she's a reincarnation og her grandma's sister, Avril. But she isn't sure of that until things start clicking into place, and I never would have guessed either of the killers. I liked these alot also because I haven't really read much mystery so I wouldn't mind reading more of those like that! Especially when you don't know what's going to happen next, which is good. Like the second one I had no idea that Holly was the killer! Of course they made it seem like Nora, which I guess is a good cover up cuz Holly is all like a friend and isn't crazy. But yeah I def gotta go buy the second one though! I also love that key on the cover. It's so cool looking.
