So I thought this one was a lot better than the first one, I dunno why! but I just did haha. It was probably because I knew more about them, but also just cuz all the weird stuff that was going on! of course they don't mention Roman in the summary, but that was def weird how everyone in the school was like hypnotized by him so that they all acted nice to each other and no one liked poor Ever :[ But she got through it! And I was pretty surprised that Ava was bad and ran away since she was talking to Riley in the first book and everything. It was so weird the part where it was back to her old life and she didn't remember anything, and then in the car Riley told her she couldn't change anything, of course she fell for Roman's trick! I had a feeling he wasn't being good yeah right she saw before how evil he was and in that vision he was going to kill Damen. I really don't know which is worse, having the one you love killed or having them be alive but never being able to touch them like kiss or have kids together I mean wow! Having them alive yes but so many limitations! And at the end of course Damen doesn't remember anything so now I wanna read the next one to see what happens! I see it's called Shadowland, so maybe that's like the opposite of Summerland, probably! But yeah it was good and I like it since it is different and also isn't focused on high school drama, but more intense things!
