One more problem: I am seriously falling for one of them... but what if he's the killer? So, I've never read a book from a vampire's point of view, the only vampire books I've read are Twilight, at least that I can remember anyway, which sounds bad I know but hey I've read a lot of books this past year ok? lol Anyways, it was good. I love how she just gets into these three guys and a lot of these things she finds out I def didn't expect. For some reason I was not thinking of how anyone would be trying to hunt and kill vampires, but that's what Milo does! At first I was all nervous for her when those pictures came up because I thought that he did it and that was his proff, but then I was like why would he be that stupid? And I kinda thought Rowan could've done it, but no he killed her when she was alive, how crazy is that. And then Daniel was kinda suspicious, but he ended up saving her at the end and getting the last kiss! But it was a great book I think and some good action in it too, not all love stuff, more like flirty type stuff haha and the cover I like. It's funny to me for some reason, like the lips are flying in the air with the bats haha I know I'm weird right?

Love on Cue by Catherine Hapka

Anyways, this ws a cute book, but man Maggie def needs to work on her boy skills haha, not that I'm much better but damn! That's so annoying I'm sure, liking a guy and not even being able to talk to him, although some girls can master that. I don't have to worry about it anymore though. But cute story, kinda diff than others. And I like how they actually get into the play even though at first they're all complaining and everything, that's what teens do right? But its good, except the wrong name thing but what can I do about that? I can't believe I'm almost done,I have to read a book a day now or else I won't make my goal! I did finish this last night, just didn't feel like doing the blog so we'll see!

Ha, this was cute and actually wasn't someone in high school! They were in winter break of first year in college so that was cool, I thought all these ones were high schoolers haha but it didn't make much of a difference I mean the same stuff happened, which is kinda good and bad cuz that means people in college do same stuff as people in high school? But then it's like people still have same feelings when they date someone at first no matter how old they are but it was cute and I knew she was gonna fall for that Aussie Jude! They're cute together though. And it was kinda random how they got stuck together in the snow and woods and all but a cute touch I think. I like her and the other books I've read from her and the cover is cute too! Makes me kinda want snow but only during winter break not when my bf has to drive to school no way! haha

Love Off-Limits by Whitney Lyles

Matt is Jeremy's best friend, and dumping your boyfriend for his closest friend is just wrong... right? This was a cute book. I love the irony of her writing a love advice column and she has no idea what to do in her own relationship. It just goes to show how you can say some things but not really mean it or know what the heck you're talking about. Of course she like the best friend, a classic story! But it was gross when Jeremy like went on her lap and farted, twice! I'd be so pissed if my bf did that to me fer reals! But anyways, it was good. Def. the cover gives the picture away, especially how they describe Matt and at least she was happy. and all those Halloween costumes sounded so fun I can't believe Halloween went by so fast and it's already Thanksgiving, today actually! So HAPPY THANKSGIVING! to everyone, might do a post tomorrow, well probably will but just to say it now! Yum food, oh no fatness here I come haha

It actually kinda reminded me of Twilight because she like has this strong connection with him and loves him already but he's not good for her or like a mysterious creature. It seems like there'd be another book! I hope so, thatd be amazing too! But I love the history of knowing about your family like that and how their lives were. Being able to read their old letters or wear their old clothes or see things they did before. It really is mysterious. And when she was reading that book about the sea creatures and everything I totally thought of myself because she was letting her imagination get carried away and got scared and I'm like that too! But I loved it. the mysterious boy. and that you also don;t find out if he really is a merman. It leaves it up to you to decide! And I really like the cover too. The designs are really pretty. I wonder how they pick these girls to be on the cover of books. Like if they're already models or they just get picked. Anyways, really good book. the best one I've read from her!

Preface: Global Perspectives: A Handbook for Understanding Global Issues has been designed to help readers answers important questions about the contemporary world, such as Why the thousands of cultural groups in the world have such different customs and beliefs while human beings have so many needs in common Why a billion people on the planet are poor and malnourished Why it is so difficult to take action to solve the atmospheric problem of global warming Why some political conflicts results in war These questions represent many more that can be asked about the problems facing the world at the beginning of the twenty-first century. Issues arise from the trends of cultural diversity, economic interdependence and dependence, deterioration of the natural environment, and political conflict. These general, long-term issues become specific through events in the news. So this was for my anthropology class. This book was alright. It wasn't too hard to read. Some things were pretty interesting, some things I already have learned about, and some things were really boring. I don't really like the end part of the book which is about war. It's pretty confusing, especially the cases with all the different names of people and countries and conflicts and everything. Same with this book I'm reading right now about Darfur, but it's an alright book. And the two women who wrote it are my professors so that's pretty cool!

The Year My Sister Got Lucky by Aimee Friedman

I thought this was a great book that's different from other glamorous ones about two sisters. I so wish I had a sister! I have two younger brothers which is good and all but I'm just saying. Katie, or Katya, which I like Katya, is always so jealous of Michaela, of course that's always the case when the other feels to pressured or thinks the other one is lucky. But I like how Katie struggles but then in the end she learns about her sister and what she really does want and what she really wants to and that her friends back home aren't so miss worthy anymore! But she learns things she never thought about before. I find that stories with smaller towns do that, since in the city it makes you so engulfed into that lifestyle and it's all you care about but in like a country setting they think they'll hate it but they get used to it. You kinda have to whether you like it or not but it was a really great story of two sisters and their lives becoming separate but knowing theyll be there for each other always no matter what they go through. Love that!

Trying on jeans sucks for everyone. This was a really great book with lots of stories that are touch the heart. A lot of unqiue stories in one place. There's a poem story, a comic book, stories of being fat of being too skinny of having a huge butt of not being confident. They're all things that we can relate to. It's so sad our need to have to look so great when alot of the world have to worry about finding food or being warm enough. I know I'm guilty of it but it does suck you have to be so freaking perfect damn I'm glad my boo isn't like that and loves me for me! And I hope every girl can find that guy who loves her no matter what. These stories are amazing and I wanted to read more!

I was lost for a little bit since I haven't read the first one in a while, but then I got into it again and it was great! I love those drawings in the books, they're amazing! And so fun. I liked the idea of them making that halloween bag but it can be used all year round! And it's cool how they have stuff you can do yourself in the back of the book. But it was a fun book to read and diff from the romance one, this one is just about four different personalities and their different lives. I know the third one came out but I'm not sure when I'll be able to read it but can't wait for it and the amazing drawings too!

Dizzy by Cathy Cassidy

It isn't what comes every year, it's who it comes from. Dizzy hasn't seen her mother in eight years, and the only time she hears from her is on her birthday. It's the only thing she has ever been able to count on from her mother her whole life. But this year Dizzy's mom has a surprise for her. and Dizzy will never be the same... So I totally did not know this was kinda like a kid's book until I started reading it and saw that she's 12! But it's ok cuz it was still a really good book that focused on other things teen books don't sometimes as much I guess. With Dizzy's mom being gone and then she gets to go with her to different festivals and live the hippie type of lifestyle. I had a feeling the whole time her dad didn't know and I was right, how her mom, Storm, never sent those postcards. It's really sad actually. And how Dizzy thought her dad didn't miss her! And she learned new things about family there, with Finn and Mouse. It was sad Mouse being all alone like that and then they became a family, but then Mouse and Finn both got burned, that was so sad I was like oh no!!! That's so sad! But I really liked the character and how she's struggling with things and it's like man younger and younger you are having to deal with split parents and changing lifestyles and boys and friends, it's like I never had any of those things going on for me when I was 12 I mean yeah I liked a guy but I mean wow. It was a good book though, I liked it.

Viva Vermont! by Melody Carlson

Naturally, she has no idea that Taylor has invited some guys to follow them- boys who have a different type of adventure in mind. As usual, Mrs. Carter does not pay close attention to the girls' activities. When a dinner outing and small accident keep her away overnight, DJ, Eliza, Taylor, Kriti, Rhiannnon, and Casey are quickly in over their heads. As a party gets completely out of hand, only God's help can get the Carter House girls out of this gigantic mess. I love this series! Except the cover kinda confuses me cuz it's like an outfit but is there no body in it or am I just crazy? haha Anyways... it was a great book! And I wish I knew how to snowboard cuz thatd be amazing fer shure! And I thought it was kinda weird in thte summary they hardly mentioned whatsup with Haley. And that was crazy, I mean seriously girls can be so vicious and mean, I'm so glad I never had to experience hate friend an enemy's friends. I never even had any enemies really! Of course Taylor and Eliza are all about the partying and drinking. YUCK! I can't wait to drink when I am 21 and have no problems or worries about it I mean whatsup with teen drinking, hate it. That was scary at the end where Haley took all that aspirin. And DJ praying so diligently for her, it's amazing. I don't think I've really had to do that but I will someday I'm sure. In the meantime, I'll keep on reading! So close to my goal now, recently I've been behind I dunno why but I know I can do it! WOOHOO

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

Back Front Cover: The first rule about fight club is you don't talk about fight club. The second rule about fight club is you don't talk about fight club. The third rule of fight club is two men per fight. The fourth rule of fight club is one fight at a time. The fifth rule of fight club is no shoes, no shirts in the fight. The sixth rule of fight club is the fights go on as long as they have to. So this book was really weird. First of all, I've never seen the movie, so I dunno anything really. But I didn't really like it. Some people in my class love it and everything and thats fine for them, but not me. It was alright. Really confusing. Some things I guess make sense but it was alot of guessing. I kinda thought at the beginning that Tyler and Joe were the same person but then my prof ruined it and told us in class yesterday, of course he told us right before you could tell he was both people and a split personality. It is weird but it makes sense I guess that he's Tyler when he's sleeping since he doesn't remember, but then how in the world this one part where Tyler leaves whenever Marla is there is he talking about himself or what? But the only way to overcome this Tyler personality was to kill himself and he does. So yeah it was ok. I'm not keeping it though. the only book I'll probaly keep is Monster, and maybe Laramie Project, I haven't read it yet but it's a play I think about the hanging of a gay man so should be interesting!

Prom Queen Geeks by Laura Preble

Continuation of the last book and it was great! I love how Shelby decided to just go to both I mean really how could someone not notice that you were gone for an hour then there for a few minutes half an hour then gone again. It was hilarious when she found out they both knew and I totally didn't expect that to happen! But it was def fun. The one thing is that damn Becca only wants her way jeeez! lol The prom isn't all that bad, for me it wasn't. It's just how you look at the generalized picture of it and mine def wasnt that! But it was a cute book and love the characters, especially of course Euphoria. I love just reading that name for some reason haha oh but the cover is cute, but the legs to me look weird like its a relaly small person or a little kid dont even ask hahaha

Queen Geeks in Love by Laura Preble

Guys always have been strictly secondary to the goal of spreaking geekiness to every corner of Green Pines High School.. and then the world! But sophomore year heats up when Shelby is swept off her feet by the karaoke stylings of a guy named Fletcher. Then Becca and Amber fall for the same guy, which results in a cursed love triangle. (Or a doomed love rhombus, if you count Shelby and Fletcher.) The going can get tought when Queen Geeks fall in love, but Shelby knows that being true to your inner geek is the most important thing. that, plus peace, love and chocolate. This was a great book. Hilarious. I was kinda mad at Shelby for acting how she did toward Fletcher, but hey she's only 15 right? So I guess that's a good enough excuse. It was funny because it's so great to look at like the opposite of these series like A List and Gossip Girl where they're all rich. These girls are geeks, and they still are having a good time with life and having problems like everyone else does. And the cover is great. Love the purple tights and pink shoes. So fun! And that robot Euphoria is funny. At first I waslike wth. But then I guess I got used to it, but it is def weird and I guess geeky, but also cool. And the others characters are great. I loved those costumes and names they made up, it was like ok... but funny. And I so totally knew that big tall guy Carl had to be the bunny! And he was! And now everyone is paired off, so let's see what happens at prom!

Something Borrowed by Catherine Hapka

What do you do when Mr. Right is wrapped up in a package that belongs to your best friend? Cute book, and Ava is def boy crazy thats fer shure! It should've mentioned all those guys she went through to finally even think of asking Jason! There was Lance, who broke up with her. And I don't remember exact order I don't think but anyways, then Zoom, then Oliver, then Rocko, then I thought someone else and then Jason but man! But she does have guts I could never do all of that I'm way too shy! And I'm glad she has such a great best friend that she's ok with it. But of course if they relaly loved each other before thatd be different but ya know, technically my boyfriend is my best friend's ex, but my boyfriend even told me he just went out with her cuz she was hot, so ya know and they weren't such a great couple plus that was in freaking 8th grade! haha but yeah cute book, only thing to criticize is I would think the dress on the cover would be that horrible pink dress she hates but oh well.

Drive Me Crazy by Erin Downing

Then Kate gets some seriously bad news: Alexis's sarcastic, condescending, hot-but-he-knows-it cousin is crashing the girls' road trip. Adam bugs Kate in every possible way. Now Kate just wants to get the road trip over with so she can spend the summer in Lucas's arms. But the road to Love is full of surprises... I thought it was pretty good. Like I always say just cute little romance stories that I like to read for some reason haha. They're fun and also take your mind off of other things going on in life. But I did think it wasn't good of Kate to be imagining all those things about Lucas when she hardly knew him, and then he was being an ass! I knew she'd end up with Adam, you can just always tell with these things. The guy that makes you mad and heated is the one you end up with. Why? Because they make you feel something! Haha not always though, cuz I met my boo in school and we were friends first and everything but anyways, the book was good. I like the cover. It's cute, and that color car probably isn't very popular haha. But yeah.

Violence by Slavoj Zizek

Obviously I didn't read this for my own enjoyment, it was for my social and political philosophy class. This book was like one thing and its complete opposite. It made sense, but then it didn't. It was confusing, but then some parts were easy to understand. One thing alot different from the other book I read for this class was that he has a lot of examples that I know like events and movies and books that I guess are more popular or well known. Like the Hitler, 9/11, the movie The Village, Bill Gates, and others I can't remember. But now I'm done with two books and only need to do one more!

The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien

I had to read this for english, but it was really good. Of course I was looking for things having to do with masculinity and violence, but it still catches your attention. There's short stories within the book, some have the same things and repeat themselves, the same event coming up 6 times in the book, but it's amazing. A really great book about war and the things that men, or you can even say, boys go through. Because all these things happened when they were my age, only 19 20 21 around there. And how these things they carried transformed their lives. Some couldn't take it, while others are still here today. Either way, they won't be the same ever again, no matter what they do. Going to war is an experience only those who did it can relate to each other. And the story at the end is the saddest, about a girl he knew when he was nine, Linda and she died of a brain tumor. Very sad. But the people he has in the book and the stories they go through is just amazing.

Nicola and the Viscount by Meg Cabot

Because it's in a different time period, there's such different things how what's right and what's wrong and how someone is supposed to act! It's so great really. And I knew she'd end up with Nathaniel. It's always that other people can tell, but not the two people themselves. Nicola is so rash, that's crazy. That's norma nowadays. I always wonder what the turning point for that was, when women started acting that way and how it was ok for us to act like men I guess. But Nicola is great! And so is her attitude and she decided not to marry Lord Sebastian for a great reason, when he ended up being really bad news anyways, so go her! And the cover is cute, it's like me! haha. Love pink, and has black curlyish hair but I'm not white lol anyways it was a great book, of course it's Meg Cabot so I knew it would be right!

A very good book! I love these S.A.S.S. ones, they're so great and I learn a little about other places too while enjoying a great book! But I must say, Nicole is so oblivious that she needs to pick one guy and stop going out with both of them, poor guys, and that she obviously needs to be with Luc from the moment she gets to Paris she's thinking about him, even before! It doesn't help that he's so flirtatious either haha. But this def makes me in a good mood. It would be really weird though, like super duper weird not to be at home during Christmas! Like wth? Weirdness indeed! But it was cute and fun to read, but it sucked cuz theres been a few books where they talk a little in spanish and i knew what they were saying so I was like yay! But them speaking French I was huh? lol oh well.

It's the Outer Banks- everything is photogenic here. Especially Blake. And Spencer. Size: They're tall. And handsome. Oh, you mean the photos? Film: Actually, yes, this summer would make an excellent movie. Single/double: Starting the vacation single. But maybe I'll find Prints Charming! This was a cute book. I totally guessed from the start that Spencer and Emily would get together, and that Spencer actually did go through freshman year already and it's his second time. I'm good right? :] But it was good, and it was very easy going and relaxing type read. That sounds like a fun family with friends and everything, even if it may seem embarrassing to the people in it, it sounds fun and cool to me! But what do I know right? haha. Cute cover too, I mean all these romance books are like the same, what's there to say about them besides them being cute and sweet and guy and girl always end up together, ya know. they're great though, a lot of them in the summer though haha but oh well. Trying not to read a whole bunch of summer ones in a row!

I had to read this book for anthro. It was pretty interesting, but it did have a lot of data, like people and groups and countries and times and years! But it was cool it had included like actual documents from the groups or from a person or a poem, and good quotes from people. I guess this was more about the people and the history, then like learning about actual environmentalism itself, but yeah it was ok, boring at points, but not too bad. At least I understand it!

WOW. Kate Brian is so amazing and def knows how to work the suspenseful and wanting more endings. I cannot believe it, that Kaitlyn is back and is Ariana's room mate, I mean that'd be so horrible! And Ariana can never relax again. Yeah she has all those great things, but that's just appearance. She really likes her supposed best friend's ex. She has to get Kaitlyn into the exclusive party by Brigit. She has to keep her grades up. Then there's getting into Stone and Grave, the secret society, she has to do a certain task. How can she cope with all of this? It was intense the whole way through. Especially the ending, I can't believe Brigit is dead now! She was the sweetest. I mean how cruel can Kaitlyn get, all this murdering just to get into this little society thing and yeah she wants to clear her name up, but by murdering more people! That's scary. Can't wait for the next one to come out. Great book, loved it. Especially the ending and suspense from it. Like how the heck did Kaitlyn kill Brigit? And will Palmer ever get to gether with Ariana? What will this death do to everyone? Wow, I dunno how long until the next one comes out but I know it'll be just as amazing.

Model Behaviour by Geraldine Ryan

Back Cover: I'm a model. Hard to believe (especially for me) but true. I'm about to breeze my way out of A Levels and on to a magazine cover. Modelling- looks so easy, doesn't it? Pout sexily a camera, anyone can do that- if they're lucky enough to look like a giraffe with good cheekbones, of course. And I do. It's just that no one tells you what goes on behind the camera... UGH! Only good pictures were this one, I guess the book isn't that popular or maybe old I dunno, but who cares, it was a great book! The main chracter, Chloe, is a funny person. She doesn't think she can model, but then everyone loves her. Then she falls in love with a guy in an up and coming band, but he's not what she thinks he is. And of course eventually the paparazzi come in eventually and ruin things, but hey it was a fun model book and I enjoyed reading about her and her sister and just her life in general I guess! And it's from England so A Levels might be like the SAT for us? I dunno. And digestive biscuits, that just sounds weird. lol

Maine Squeeze by Catherine Clark

Well I'll just tell you! lol. Colleen and her friends move into her house for the summer while her parents are off in Europe. And things get crazy. She has a boyfriend, Ben. But then the unthinkable happens, and her boyfriend from last summer, Evan, is back in town and working in the same place she is. She can't stop thinking about him, and although she tries to avoid him, she ends up doing the opposite, and Ben sees it, everyone sees it but her. So she breaks up with Ben and kinda just goes along with Evan. I kinda didn't really like the ending, cuz nothing happened, like she was kinda with Evan, but not really, I dunno it kinda just annoyed me a little for some reason. But it was a typical summer book like I said before I wanted a few books in between these since they're like all the same summer type thing! But I love the cover, it's adorable. And that umbrella and those chairs are totally me right? hehe. But yeah I can't believe how long it took me to read this, I need some catching up to do, man this is brutal.

Heart of Glass by Zoey Dean

But while it may seem like a plush job, Anna and Cammie are in for a challenge. can the girls handle the pressures of the vicious fashion world? Or will they fall to pieces faster than a Louis Vuitton knockoff? Great book! Def some crazy things going on that's fer shure. Especially at the end where Anna says she wants to date both guys in front of both of them? weird. And Poppy is gone, just what Sam wanted, while Champagne gets just what she wanted, a modeling job, because of Cammie. Wow, all these relationships and things going on because sof what one person did for the other! It's crazy haha. I wonder what's gonna happen with Adam, I have a feeling he's not gonna come back, he just keeps saying he loves it down there, sad for Cammie, especially since then she's gonna go after Ben, uh oh. Ben is such a troublesome character for the girls haha. But yeah, I liked the ideas in it and what happened with the charity fashion show thing sounded great, so randomly I read the next book in the series like months and months ago? So, I'll wait to read that again until after my little book goal cuz I can't put it on twice ya know?
